Key Biscayne officials approved a commercial project expected to cost $30 million to develop.

Latitude Group will build 10,000 square feet of retail on the first floor, 15,000 square feet of offices on the second floor and a roof deck with four paddleball courts.

Local developer Latitude Group would build the two-story building on the 1.35-acre site at 12 and 24 Crandon Blvd. It’s at the entrance to the village of Key Biscayne, just south of Calusa Park and the wildlife preserve.
