Developer David Martin of Terra has agreed to buy the former Miami Herald in Downtown Miami site for $1.2 billion dollars in what could become one of the country’s priciest land acquisitions.

The 15.5-acre parcel at 1431 N Bayshore Drive between the MacArthur and Venetian causeways that lead to Miami Beach offers 800 linear feet of direct frontage on Biscayne Bay, just east of the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts (Commercial Observer)
