Fort Lauderdale condo hotel to open Oct. 10

Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach resort until Oct. 10. The 24-story condo hotel had been scheduled to open by the end of September for its first paying guests.

The Conrad, at 551 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard, has 290 units including studios, suites with one to three bedrooms, and three penthouses. The units have galley kitchens with touch-screen stove tops, marble bath tubs and rainfall showers.

Daily room rates in October start at $339.
