Vegetarian restaurants are hot in Miami.

The most recent addition is Brickell’s Crate, calling itself a plant-based kitchen, bar and lounge, which promises Miami’s “first vegetarian and vegan culinary and nightlife experience.” Yup, you read right: Vegetarian and nightlife. Like chicken and waffles, the twain are strange bedfellows, yet Crate hopes to make it work.
