Low-cost GOL airline will return to MIA with daily flights to Brazil
February 6, 2018
GOL will return to Miami International Airport in November with daily flights to Brasília and Fortaleza.
The Brazilian low-cost airline, which suspended its trips to São Paulo from MIA in 2016, will host the new routes on 186-seat planes. GOL is the ninth low-cost carrier among MIA’s 107 passenger and cargo airlines, and the fourth airline to offer trips between Miami and Brazil, joining American Airlines, Avianca Brasil and LATAM Airlines.
MIA is the third-busiest airport in the U.S. for international passengers and welcomes 70 percent of all of Florida’s international visitors. The airport generates $33.7 billion in revenue annually.
