New retailers and gym coming to Galleria Mall Fort LauderdaleApril 6, 2018
The Galleria Mall, Fort Lauderdale’s largest mall this week announced new retailers and restaurants opening later this year.
The Galleria Mall confirmed that plus-sized women’s retailer Torrid, fashion jewelry store Mimmic Bijuterias and linens store Bamboo Comfort have leased space and are expected to open in the fall.
Torrid offers accessories, swimwear and lingerie sized 12 to 28. It will be located on the mall’s upper level near H&M. Opening on the main level of the mall near Ann Taylor, Mimmic Bijuterias will sell women’s and men’s necklaces, bracelets and rings crafted in stainless steel and semi-precious stones. Bamboo Comfort, a high-end linens store, will be near Neiman Marcus.
Powerhouse Gym is expected to open in summer at the mall. It will be the fitness franchise’s first location in Broward County. It has locations in 39 states and more than 300 international sites.
It previously announced that Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant will open in 15,000 square feet in early 2019 at the mall’s upper level overlooking the main entrance facing East Sunrise Boulevard.
In addition to the retailers coming soon, recent openings at The Galleria Mall include women’s clothing retailer Apricot Lane Boutique and Stewart’s Restaurant which serves burgers, salads, hot dogs, sandwiches, wraps, shakes and root beer floats at the Palm Court Market food court. Stefano Versace Gelato also opened recently within the mall’s food court.
