The Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club is opening its doors in spring 2018

The Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club, an Art Deco hotel is opening its doors in spring 2018 after a multimillion-dollar renovation.

The Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club, originally designed by Art Deco architect Roy France in 1940, will reopen at 3925 Collins Ave. in Miami Beach as part of Marriott International’s (Nasdaq: MAR) Autograph Collection. The hotel is taking reservations starting May 1 at about $264 a night.

The renovation will add two new restaurants to the hotel, including a formal Italian eatery to replace the Carrabba’s Italian Grill that used to operate there. The new restaurant will serve pizzas, homemade pastas, fish and meats. A separate, casual eatery will open at the rear of the hotel, serving raw bar dishes, grilled fish and salads. A representative for the hotel said more details about the restaurants, including their names, are being finalized and will be announced later.

All 357 rooms at the Cadillac Hotel are being renovated. Its lobby, hallways and pool deck are also being updated while its Art Deco elements, such as terrazzo flooring, are bring preserved. The hotel will keep its lobby bar and a library is being added that can be used for private events.

The hotel has several flexible indoor and outdoor meeting and event spaces including a boardroom and ballroom that opens onto its pool deck.

Pennsylvania-based real estate investment trust Hersha Hospitality Trust (NYSE: HT) owns and operates the Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club. Marriott’s Autograph Collection includes about 100 luxury hotels in nearly 30 countries. Marriott Rewards members receive points when they stay at the hotel.
