January 7, 2026

The Public and Private sectors are joining forces to renovate Lincon Rd.

The Miami Beach City Commission has given unanimous approval for a $12 million redevelopment project of Lincoln Road and the adjacent Beachwalk entrance, spearheaded by Sobe Sky Development. The project, which involves collaboration with the State of Florida, aims to revitalize the 100-300 blocks of Lincoln Road in Miami Beach.

The funding for the project is sourced from multiple entities, including $4.85 million from the State of Florida, $4 million from Sobe Sky Development, and $4 million from the City of Miami Beach. The redevelopment plan includes transforming the 100 block of Lincoln Road into a pedestrian-friendly area with enhanced landscaping and amenities. The design, led by Andres Arcila of Naturalficial, aims to integrate public beach access with Lincoln Road’s shopping districts.
