The Gale Residences Fort Lauderdale Beach has been completed and all 129 units have been sold.
The 12-story project was built by Newgard Development Group and Merrimac Ventures. It has 122 traditional condo residences and seven two-story townhomes.
Units in the Gale Residences Located at 401 Bayshore Drive and a block off Fort Lauderdale Beach, the 12-story development offers one, two, and three-bedroom units ranging from 800 to 2,100 square feet and starting in the $500,000s.
The site is one block west of the ocean and one block east of the Intracoastal Waterway.
The condos come fully finished and include Italian kitchen cabinets, smart home technology, floor-to-ceiling windows, and balconies.
Amenities at the Gale Residences include a sunset lounge on the eighth floor, a pool deck with Intracoastal views on the four floor, a fitness center, a club room with a kitchen and bar, a theater room, an outdoor fitness and meditation area, and electric vehicle charging stations. There is also street-level retail space.
The condo was designed by Garcia Stromberg with Urban Robot Associates as the interior designer. The general contractor on the project is GT McDonald Enterprises.
In addition to completing the condo, Newgard and Merrimac are renovating the neighboring Gale Boutique Hotel, which will be managed by Menin Hospitality. Condo owners will have the option of putting their units into the hotel’s rental pool and can access hotel services, such as housekeeping and room service.
